Cha Lo Heaven’s Gate

Heaven’s Gate Relic is the last point on Route 12A. During the resistance war against the US, as the Vietnam – Laos border gate, it played a very important role in transporting goods to Central Laos and Lower Laos. On December 24, 2018, the Heaven’s Gate relic was upgraded and recognized as a specific national monument according to Decision No. 1280QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. Now, all key points on Road 12A have erected monuments as a tribute, to remember and honor the heroic martyrs who informed a gallant history in the war for the sake of independence and freedom of the nation.
