Son Doong Cave

Located in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park core area, Son Doong cave is 7.3 km long, 150m high, 200m wide, and recognized as the largest cave in the world. What makes Son Doong special and celebrated is a unique world inside the cave, which contains colossal stalactites (more than 80m high), a developing primeval forest, its own ecosystem, unique climate and an endless underground river that no explorer has ever discovered.
